About WSSHE
The Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineering (WSSHE) is an association dedicated to serving and promoting the healthcare engineering profession since 1973. WSSHE is an affiliated Chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering of the American Hospital Association. Their mission is to provide members with technical information and management growth through education and relationship building with healthcare services and product suppliers to improve the healthcare environment.
Leadership Award
The Business Partner of the Year award recognizes someone who goes above and beyond to support the mission of WSSHE. This year, they honored Breanna Langston, who has demonstrated incredible leadership and dedication to the community as the Puget Sound Charity Committee lead.
Community Impact
In 2022, Breanna and the Puget Sound Charity Committee started partnering with Camp Korey, a nonprofit organization in Mount Vernon that provides year-round camp programs to children with life-altering medical conditions.
Each spring for the last few years, the team has organized and recruited volunteer labor to perform over 25 campus improvement and summer get-ready projects. The volunteers spent over 800 volunteer hours with the Camp K team!
The committee also hosts an annual end-of-year fundraising holiday party, where all proceeds benefit the great work that Camp Korey performs.
Breanna exemplifies our company’s values through her unwavering dedication to our healthcare team and clients. Her active involvement, from leading fundraising efforts to volunteering for WSSHE’s mission, demonstrates her deep commitment and passion for serving others.
