Tower 333
Bellevue, WA / 460,000 SF
Tower 333 is a 20-story high-rise tower in the central business district of Bellevue, built in 2008. It boasts a modern glass exterior wall and a half-acre outdoor plaza. The scope of this project includes tenant improvements building wide mechanical system upgrades including Air and Water Balance, Controls, and Plumbing.
The HVAC work on this project includes the existing floor- by-floor chilled-water air handler system serving variable-volume, fan terminal units. The system is comprised of floor mounted air handler units complete with chilled water coils, filters, VAV supply fans, economizer dampers, and building relief fans.
The conditioned air is supplied to the building via a medium velocity duct distribution system. Each zone will have a VAV fan terminal damper unit. The VAV cooling damper precisely controls the quantity of 48°F air required to satisfy the zone.
