Our partnership with Columbia Sportswear began with a dynamic interplay between our Service Department, Building Performance Group (BPG) and Service Special Projects (SSP) teams, which made serving this client a seamless, enjoyable undertaking. MacDonald-Miller launched the adventure in 2015 with a service agreement, and immediately recognized that Columbia Sportswear had other needs. We called in our expert teams from BPG and SSP and led a round table discussion with the client that covered downtime, comfort issues, control system migration paths, and energy consumption concerns. Now, years later, we still maintain a strong Service relationship, and as a result of incredible energy performance, the client engaged in the next step to unify various campus control systems through ICONICS facility analytics.
