Leading with our culture and values, we make complex mechanical systems work so that your building operates in the most efficient manner possible. The results are a healthy environment for the building’s occupants, significant energy savings and a reduced carbon footprint. As the Pacific Northwest’s top choice, design-build mechanical contractor, we collaborate with building owners, engineers and facility managers to develop advanced systems that make your building work better, which in turn contributes to a healthier environment for all.
Seattle Aquarium is reducing energy consumption, cutting their carbon footprint by 20% and becoming a deeper shade of green.
The Seattle Aquarium is a 69,400 square foot facility that originally opened in 1977. It houses multiple aquatic and land exhibits, a restaurant, gift shop and a meeting/event space. The project scope included an Investment Grade Audit that resulted in energy efficient retrofits and new equipment including: a new HVAC Controls system, an LED lighting, 2 new destratification fans, 3 new air handling units, 4 furnaces and 2 boilers, the attic insulation of Pier 59 and performance management services to deliver and validate the guaranteed financial results.
