Meeting Washington’s Clean Buildings Performance Standard (CBPS) can feel like a heavy lift, especially for property teams managing multiple buildings. Because most of its portfolio falls under Tier 1, the early work centered on benchmarking: pulling together energy-use data across buildings and reviewing it to build a clearer picture of performance and where improvements could pay off.
