Project Description

Washington 1000 is a 17-story, 546,000-square-foot Class A office tower located in the heart of Seattle’s Denny Triangle. Designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, Washington 1000 offers amenities that inspire connection and creativity, including two outdoor terraces, a rooftop deck with indoor/outdoor space, a dog park, bike storage, a conference center, café, and a lounge with a fireplace and kitchen.

MacDonald-Miller provided design-build mechanical and plumbing systems that support the building’s sustainability, comfort, and performance goals:

Mechanical Systems – A dual Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) design featuring custom Scott Springfield units delivers optimal ventilation, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency across all 17 floors.

Plumbing Systems – A rainwater harvesting system located on the roof routes captured water to the adjacent Seattle Convention Center parking garage, where it is reused in restroom facilities to conserve water and reduce building impact.

Through design-build collaboration and engineering precision, MacDonald-Miller helped deliver a high-performance tower that defines where work meets wow in Seattle’s next-generation office landscape.
