The Eight
Bellevue, WA
The mechanical system for NE 8th is a combination of sensible cooling and compressorized cooling systems that include chiller water, heating water, and condenser water systems distributed throughout the building. The office floors are served by a dedicated outside air supply (DOAS) unit every other floor and zones will be conditioned by fan-powered sensible cooling terminal units, which have a combination of ventilation air, variable speed fans, chilled water coils, and heating water coils. The retail/amenity portions are provided with condenser water connections, heating water connections, and perimeter louvers for installation of a water source heat pump and/or make up air units during a future TI phase.
