Project Description
MacDonald-Miller is partnering with Skanska USA and design collaborators on the 460,000 SF expansion of Snoqualmie Casino, tripling the facility’s size since its original 2008 construction. The project includes a 210-room hotel, 2,000-person convention and entertainment center, destination spa, expanded gaming floors, signature restaurants, and valet parking garage, elevating the casino into a full Las Vegas-style resort.
Our scope encompasses mechanical, plumbing, and controls systems, including:
Mechanical – Installation of 21 air handling units, 3 chillers, 3 boilers, 9 pumps, 324 fan coil units, 110 VAV units, and 40 fans.
Plumbing – Over 26 miles of piping, 8 water heaters, 347 water closets, 349 lavatories, and more than 500 kitchen equipment connections.
Controls – Integration of new systems with the casino’s existing Honeywell platform for seamless operation.
At peak, more than 120 MacMiller tradespeople worked alongside partners VP Electric and Hudson Bay Insulation. Our fabrication shop contributed 26,000 hours, delivering custom ductwork, pipe racks, and skids to accelerate installation.
Despite hillside construction, extreme weather, and integration with a live 24/7 facility, the team successfully advanced this complex project, demonstrating MacDonald-Miller’s strength in preconstruction, fabrication, and lifecycle planning. As the project nears completion, we are proud to continue our partnership with Snoqualmie Casino, including upgrades to expand long-term mechanical capacity.
