Prairie Medical Campus Breaks Ground

MacDonald-Miller had the privilege of joining the Prairie Medical Campus groundbreaking, which marks a major milestone for a healthcare development that will serve this community for years to come. Projects like this don’t move forward without strong collaboration, and it was great to be on-site alongside the full project team as Phase One officially got underway.

Located in Post Falls, Idaho, Prairie Medical Campus is a 30-acre development led by MultiCare, Kootenai Health, and Parkwood Development, with Bouten Construction as the general contractor and CollinsWoerman as architect. We’re proud to be part of the team delivering the mechanical scope, working in close coordination with MW Engineers.

Phase One includes a 20,849 sf Micro Hospital and 71,136 sf Medical Office Building. Future phases will expand the campus further, with the long-term vision including a full-service hospital, bringing total development to approximately 1,000,000 SF over time.

This project covers full mechanical: HVAC, plumbing, pipe fitting, and controls. Early alignment across trades, design, and construction is what helps projects like this stay coordinated as complexity ramps up.

Congratulations to the full team on this milestone. We’re honored to help bring this campus to life!
