MCADEMY AWARDS
Congratulations to our MacDonald-Miller leaders, who have been recognized for their incredible contributions to our industry and the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Western Washington community this past year.
Noel Brandon
Rising Star Award
“The Rising Star Award goes to an instructor who has demonstrated growth and great potential. This year’s recipient was brand new to our instructor base in 2024. Noel Brandon eagerly jumped into teaching and immediately took the initiative to refine the class assets in teaching both the HVAC & Safety sessions within the Mechanical Service Professional program. He additionally taught the crucial workshop on mental health and suicide awareness, the VitalCog program. The students responded with high praise and appreciation for his sessions, spotlighting that Noel truly has a great future ahead of him as an instructor. Congratulations, Noel Brandon!” – MCAWW

After the first CMPM program was launched, Maria served for several years on the Board of Education, took a pause, and then came back to the Board. She was named Chair and has spent the last 17 years leading the charge in building and improving MCAWW education. Maria’s enthusiasm, energy, creativity, and devotion have been instrumental in the existence of many of our programs. Apart from leading the Board of Education, Maria teaches many of our MCAWW classes and additionally serves on our Board of Directors. Our first ever program was completed in 2000, marking 25 years of MCAWW education. We commemorate Maria’s leadership with this special anniversary.” – MCAWW
