The 350,000 square foot Renaissance Hotel was constructed in 1981 and has 553 guest rooms, 18 meeting rooms, and 3 restaurants. The project scope included reinstalling heat wheels, modification of kitchen EF roof ducting, retrofitting kitchen hoods to VFD, garage lighting upgrades, domestic water pump system replacement, connection of meeting room heat pumps to the building automation system, a Aqua-Recycle laundry water reclaim system and performance management services to deliver and validate the guaranteed financial results.
The installed project is on target to achieve an estimated annual savings of 1,166,120 kWh and 1,363,635 gallons of water; and an annual carbon reduction of 814 metric tons. After 10 months, the Renaissance Hotel has already saved $114,205; 7% above the target.
