BOMA (Building Owners & Managers Association) is involved with DESC (Downtown Emergency Services Center) as its community outreach partner. MacDonald-Miller is a Sustaining Partner with BOMA and over the past several years we have supported this ‘Day of Caring’ in the form of volunteer labor on various projects including the installation of a domestic HW boiler at one of their emergency shelters in downtown Seattle. We also installed a donated split system HVAC unit for their computer room and control systems enhancements. Thanks to Kelly King, Tim Hillegas and Bill Britain.
Please join a handful of MacDonald-Miller employees and help out on Saturday May 21st. If you are kind enough to participate please include “MacDonald-Miller’ along with your name when you reply to the email address in the details below:
It’s time to roll up those sleeves and join your fellow BOMA members and help DESC upgrade and maintain their vital programs that annually serve over 6000 homeless and mentally ill people in our community. This special day makes a big impact on the health of this organization and we encourage all of our members to get involved and help BOMA make a difference. Breakfast and lunch included for all volunteers!
